Booking a guide from Milk+Honey Tours was the best decision we made to get the most of the days we had in Rome. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and managed to capture (and hold) the attention and interest of our two teens as well. Her apt and likeable way of guiding us through the sights of Ancient Rome, making sure we were comfortable, finding quiet places in midst of crowded areas, being open to our individual interests, and offering competent answers to many-faceted questions about Rome, turned these two hours into a wonderful experience. We will definitely book with Milk + Honey Tours again.

My wife and I booked a Jewish tour with Milk and Honey Tours. The tour was very poor. Our guide did not know what tour he was supposed to do, said he stated he was never informed. This was an all day tour and paid in advance. I feel it was very expensive for what we received. The guide knew very little about Jewish Marseille or Provence. When asked about the Jewish population of Marseille and Paris, he was way off. He found the information and corrected himself. We saw the synagogue in Marseille but gave us no discussion about it. We went to a small town where we visited a synagogue that has been turned into a museum. The synagogue had its own guide. He took us to another one, but we couldn't get it because of crowds. He did not check in advance whether there might be a problem. He spent a lot of time on his cell phone while driving.
On this trip to Europe, we had 4 other private guided tours; all were excellent and were booked through other tour agencies, not Milk and Honey Tours. While on the trip, I contacted Milk and Honey by email; they responded saying that the talked with the guide and he denied my assertions. They did not show concern regarding my disappointment nor did they apologize for the fact that as a client, I was dissatisfied. I feel that for what my wife and I saw and experienced, the cost of this tour was excessive.

We had an outstanding experience with Milk & Honey Tours. Super nice tour guide who did her best to meet the wishes and expectations of the tour group. This tour definitely surpassed our expectations. Looking forward to another tour in another European city in the near future!

They do not take you to the Jewish places they say they will go to. We did not get to the Jewish museum and the cemetery. I would recommend going with the ship tour or a different group. The guide was knowledgable but not Jewish which also was a disappointment.
